Those of you thinking about visiting Norfolk in the coming months for a short holiday may be wondering what you can get up to during your stay. Norfolk is one of the top holiday counties in the UK, and is a place for all seasons, and that’s reflected in the range of events happening in the area throughout the year. From festivals to farmers’ markets, there is something for everyone when you are staying at Bulmer Properties!

LightScape // 7th June – 24th October

Perfect for those who are a fan of art! James Turrell is showcasing some of his inspiring art to the public at Houghton Hall. With pieces created since the 1960s in the image of light and space, the Houghton collection is the centre of this exhibition and will leave you amazed.

Royal Norfolk Show // 1st – 2nd July

Enjoy the best of Norfolk at the Royal Horse Show! With 650 trade stands, over 3000 animals and hundreds of attractions, you can be guaranteed a day that’s packed from start to finish.

Hoveton Hall Gardens // 1st – 28th June

If you’re a country bumpkin that has chosen to holiday on the coast, the chances are you would love Hoveton Hall! It’s beautiful gardens as you see them today are made up of several areas, all with their own unique characteristics.

Great Yarmouth Firework Display // 15th July – 26th August

There’s nothing better than standing under the stars watching fireworks, so imagine doing that on a warm summer’s night! The firework displays will run throughout July and August, and there’s also entertainment at Seaworld Entertainment Gardens, and the seafront attraction rides are open ‘till late.

Beer Festival // 17th – 19th July

Celebrate the 13th year with beer, food, drink and entertainment! This Beer Festival is now firmly established in the beer enthusiasts’ calendar, and there’s definitely a reason for it! The festival allows you to taste local and UK beers, which is the perfect treat for your holiday.

Sandringham Flower Show // 29th July

The Sandringham Flower Show is a firm favourite in the events calendar, mixing local village flower and produce competitions, trade stands, amateur and professional display gardens and a wealth of arena events. It is always the busiest day of the year on the estate, welcoming over 20,000 visitors.

Sandringham Food Festival // 8th – 9th August

There is bound to be something that takes your fancy from the huge range of food and drink at the Sandringham Food Festival. Perfect for finding some new favourite foods, and taking part in a cooking masterclass hosted by one of the nation’s best chefs!

Hunstanton Kite Festival // 16th August

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a kite! Have a fun day out with the family watching the kites fly in the sky, looking at the classic car rally, craft fair, children’s amusements and more. Sure to make a memorable day!
